Must-Visit Food Pop-Up: Foley's Tasting Kitchen

Attention all foodies:

Following the huge success of Little Feast in Shepherd’s Bush in both the summer and winter, the Feast team are back with yet another epic dining experience, Market Yard, which will host two of London’s most up and coming restaurants. The kitchen will be handed over to each restaurant for a 6 week run. During this period, they will create short and simple menus, inspired by their signature dishes to create a uniquely bespoke menu for visitors.

The first in line, starting this past Wednesday, is Foley’s Tasting Kitchen, a unique new restaurant soon to be opening in Fitzrovia. The restaurant is serving an exciting ‘’modern world food’’ menu, focusing on diverse dishes inspired by the Spice Trail. Run by Head chef Mitz Vora, (Sous Chef of The Palomar), the eclectic menu, with a range of plates from around the world, will surely not disappoint.  

All the dishes are cooked over a charcoal and wood fire within Market Yard’s outdoor seating area which is covered and fully heated. Half the space will be bookable, offer table service and have the full menu while the other more informal section will serve just a limited, bits and bobs menu and only take walk-ins for a nibble and some drinks.

Some menu highlights include; spiced sweet potato fritters with grilled pineapple, jalapeno yoghurt and saffron coconut curry; ribeye cap steak with tater tots, whipped anchovy butter, grilled gem lettuce and homemade black olive mustard; and cornflake-crusted chicken with pickled wild mushrooms, corn, endive and chorizo. 

The second restaurant to take up residency will be Made of Dough, Brixton’s hottest new pizza joint created by Ed Sandeman and Henry Amodio; one from Campania and the other from Andalucia, making proper neopolitan pizzas with a nod to Southern Spain.

Open from March 23rd – May 1st.
